The default is Ctrl + Alt + Space. The first press starts recording (a red indicator lights up next to the cursor and pulses in time with your voice); the second press stops it and sends the audio for recognition.
You can change the shortcut in the app's main window. Presets are available: Ctrl + Alt + Space, Ctrl + Shift + Space, Ctrl + Alt + Z and more.
The tone controls how your speech is turned into text. Pick it in the main window:
The main window has a "Speech language" and an "Output language." When they differ, the result is translated. For example: speak in English and set the output language to Spanish — Spanish text appears in the field.
Usage is counted in minutes: roughly 1 minute of recognized speech = 1 minute of balance. Your balance is shown in the main window and in your account. That's also where you can buy more minutes or subscribe.
When your minutes run low, the app prompts you to top up. Your full usage history is available in your account.
Audio is processed in the request's memory on our server and deleted immediately after recognition — we don't store voice recordings. Only usage metadata is kept. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
Make sure the right microphone is selected and its volume in Windows settings is high enough. Try speaking closer to the mic.
In windows launched "as administrator," a standard app can't send keystrokes. In that case the text stays on the clipboard — press Ctrl + V manually. Alternatively, run the target program without administrator rights.
Click the "Show hidden icons" arrow next to the clock. Luviomic runs as a single instance — if you start it again, you'll simply get a reminder that the program is already running.
Check your internet connection. Recognition runs on our server, so it isn't available offline.
